Palm Jumeirah is Dubai’s most famous man-made island, and seeing it from the water is one of the highlights of any yacht charter in Dubai. Shaped like a palm tree, with a trunk, fronds and an outer crescent, it is best appreciated from the sea, where you can take in its size, its luxury resorts and the iconic Atlantis The Palm.
Atlantis The Palm from the Sea
Sitting at the very top of the crescent, Atlantis The Palm is one of Dubai’s most recognisable buildings, with its grand arch and pink façade. Nearby, the newer Atlantis The Royal adds a bold, modern shape to the skyline. Cruising along the crescent gives you a front-row view of both, making this one of the most photographed stops on a Dubai yacht rental.
Cruising Along the Crescent
Your captain will take you along the outer crescent, past beach clubs and resort hotels, with the open Arabian Gulf on one side and the island on the other. In calm conditions, the sheltered waters around the Palm are a great place for a swim stop, and the views back towards Dubai Marina and the skyline are spectacular, especially at sunset.
What You Will See
- Atlantis The Palm and Atlantis The Royal
- The outer crescent of Palm Jumeirah with its resorts and beach clubs
- Views of Dubai Marina, Dubai Harbour and the city skyline
- Ain Dubai and JBR on the way out and back
How Long Do You Need?
A Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis route usually fits well into a cruise of around two hours from Dubai Marina, giving you time to enjoy the views without rushing. Add more time if you want a swim stop, a meal on board or to continue to the Burj Al Arab. Our guide on how long to book your charter explains the options.
Perfect For
This route is a favourite for birthday yachts, corporate yacht parties, family sightseeing and special occasions. It is also a highlight of a New Year yacht cruise, when fireworks light up the Palm and Atlantis at midnight.
