Most yacht charters in Dubai are booked by the hour, which gives you flexibility but also raises a common question: how long should you book? Here is what you can expect from each option.
2-Hour Charter: The Classic Cruise
Two hours is perfect for a first-time cruise. You can leave Dubai Marina, pass JBR and Ain Dubai, and cruise along the outer crescent of Palm Jumeirah before heading back. Ideal for sunset cruises and short celebrations.
3-Hour Charter: Time to Relax
Three hours adds breathing space. You can spend time near Atlantis The Palm, stop for photos, and enjoy food on board without rushing. It is a popular choice for birthdays and small parties.
4-Hour Charter and Longer: The Full Experience
Four hours or more lets you explore at a relaxed pace, add a swim stop in good weather, enjoy a full meal or live BBQ, and include landmarks such as Burj Al Arab. Longer charters are ideal for corporate events and large celebrations.
How to Choose
- Number of guests: larger groups usually enjoy longer charters.
- Food: if you are adding a BBQ or buffet, allow at least 3 hours.
- Activities: swimming and sightseeing need extra time.
- Time of day: in summer, shorter morning or evening charters can be more comfortable.
